Poofy Dresses for Your Dream Photo Shoot with Ron Brewer Images
During the week of January 11, 2015, and ONLY during that week, you have the opportunity to be in your DREAM PHOTO SHOOT using any or all of these three amazing dresses! That's right, you can use these beautiful dresses for your photo shoot. These are not the normal dresses you can go out to a local store and purchase for your photo shoot.
ONLY ONE WEEK
But these dresses are available only during the week of January 11, 2015. Two of these dresses have been rented by Ron Brewer Images, so they must be returned at the end of the rental period.
And there are not many time slots open during that week, so you need to schedule your session ASAP! Call Ron Brewer Images at (623) 698-2228 to schedule.
Ron Brewer Images has these three dresses available for you to use in your own Couture Glamour Photo Shoot.
THE FLORAL CASCADE DRESS (shown above)
This $900 poofy dress is covered in simulated flowers over black tulle to create a fantasy styled image of beauty. Cinderella isn't the only one with a poofy dress!
THE DIONYSYS CORSET DRESS
Another poofy dress is the Dionysis Corset dress. This dress bodice is a nude colored corset with black lace, along with a transparent black tulle skirt. You don't find this kind of dress in just any store and you don't see people wearing it on the street. You can look different and unique in dramatic images.
It also comes with a shoulder worn accessory to create an exotic look (shown above).
THE SIMPLE ELEGANCE DRESS
This dress is actually a wedding dress with simple but elegant lines. The skirt is full enough to glow around the feet.
DRESS SIZES
The first two dress shown are size 4 and the last is a size 8. Not those sizes? Don't worry. If you are close to those sizes, we can use some studio tricks to make it look like they will fit you. We've had the Simple Elegance dress on size 4 women with no problem or adjustments. But, if needed, we can use extensions if it is too small for you, or studio clips if it's too large. Plus, camera angle, posing, and skillful retouching all go together to make everything look good.
Want to bring your own dresses? Do it! You can use these dress, use your own dresses or mix it up.
THE COST
The cost is $250, which includes the session fee, hair and makeup artist in the studio, and the use of any or all three of these dresses.
Images are sold separately at the following rates:
20 Images - $950 (normally $1,200)
10 Images - $550 (normally $800)
6 Images - $350 (normally $600)
4 Images - $250 (normally $500)
3 Images - $200 (normally $360)
Single images - $120 each.
This offer cannot be combined with other offers.

Tutu Tuesday
In the ballet world, it is Tutu Tuesday! So here is my contribution to that amazing world. I love how light plays with tulle. That's one of the reasons that it is used in many weddings.
Still Beautiful - Eight Years Later
Stephanie pulled her wedding dress out of an eight year storage to do a Glam the Dress photo shoot with me. As you can see from these images, she was once again radiant.
Most of my Glam the Dress shoots are done in my studio with both strobes and natural light, but this time we did it all with natural light out in a beautiful upscale location. Tim, her husband, came along to be in some of her shots. Very cool, Tim!
Belly Dancing and Flowing Dresses
You've seen me publish images of flowing dresses before, but this is the first time that I have created one with a belly dancer.
In fact, this was my first ever photo shoot with a belly dancer. I recently did a flowing dress shot with a ballerina, so I thought I would try it with a belly dancer.
Cari is a local dancer that also makes belly dance costumes. She brought a large number of costumes but were lucky to get through 4 of them for the shoot. I think that this is my favorite image from the shoot.
What Would You Change About Your Body?

Most of us can guess the types of answers that adults would give to the question "What would you change about your body?".
But what if you asked the question to kids? It's surprising.

A Halloween Spoof
For a Halloween Spoof, Andrea and I created a mock book cover. So there's not a real book behind the cover, affirming that you should never judge a book by the cover. Hmmm, I wonder if there is a market for bookless book covers over at the book store?

A New Passion
It wasn't until recently that I began to appreciate the world of dance. I don't know why it took me so long, but I'm glad that I finally got there.
I discovered that dance is a complete world of art, in itself. It's not only beautiful and exciting when you watch amazing dancers in motion, but it offers up endless possibilities for stunning still images. And there lies my new passion - dance photography.
Yes, I now even watch Dancing With the Stars! Faithfully!
I find myself surprised at the physical strength required in artful dance forms. And some of them require such stringent rules to be followed. It takes a special person to meet the expectations and not go crazy in the midst of it all. I understand the controversy that exists on whether dancers are athletes or artists or both. I fall to the school of thought arguing that it is "both". I can see the rigorous training that is physically demanding, injury prone and requiring such strength. Reminds me of football players and gymnasts, to name a couple. The rules can be listed so simply, but one spends a lifetime tying to implement them correctly.
My hat is off to serious dancers.

Pink Petals
I recently did a photo shoot with Andrea Lasley and a dozen pink roses. We shot a number of different concepts, and one of them included soft images using pink rose petals. We had a lot of fun creating them, but this kind of thing is right down Andrea's road. She gets kinda crazy with having fun!
Some of the images involved her blowing the petals into the air and my trying to capture her face as well as the moving petals. That's a little harder to do than it sounds. It's seems the petals were never in the right place in the air each time her face was perfect. So we did some extra shots of the petals falling in mid air and I composted a few of those petals into the final images of her face.
The sad news is that three roses did die in the process of making these images...

Photobombing
Photobombing happens all the time. But it's not usually done by the photographer himself. After all, he/she should be behind the camera! But, alas, it does happen when the photographer has a remote control device for his camera. You have to watch out for these photogs!
Poor Andrea had no idea I was back there in the shot.
