It seems that this summer has turned into my summer of Dance Photography! Not planned, but it's happening because of so many dance photo shoots upcoming. Which is just fine with me!

First Responders and Military
Free Portrait for First Responders and Military
As a way of giving back to the community, I am pleased to provide a free portrait to any first responder and military personnel. All of these people provide a critical service to our community and way of life, and I want to say "thank you" to them for their service.
First responders can include such persons as policy and firefighters, but are not exclusive to these two groups. Anyone actively serving in our military or the reserves may also participate. The portrait will be of the individual wearing their uniform and the portrait will be taken in my studio. The portrait will be provided in a digital media and may be downloaded from my website.
Thank you to the amazing people, who are often unsung heroes.
Dove Introduces the Beauty Patch.
Dove has done it again! Hit it right out of the ball park.
The Dove company has the most incredible series of commercials about real beauty. I don't know of any one else that is nailing this subject right on the head like they are doing.
I don't want to give away the ending of this one, so you have to see it for yourself.

An Ame Meme focused on Jean in a fine art image. I love how you can become and depict whatever you want in a photography session. You can do a theme in boudoir, culture glamour, fashion, beauty, fine art or whatever you desire. It's a chance to become what you are not in everyday life and capture that memory in am image. To stretch yourself or fully be yourself. Go ahead and be that fine art model or fashion model for a day. A license to play for a day!

A Reflection of Yourself
A portrait is a reflection of yourself. A moment caught in time for eternity. Unfortunately, most of us end up in later life not having those portraits to look back on and fill our heats with warm memories. We tend to have a lot of phone snapshots, but as great as those are, they don't give us the same emotional response as a portrait. A snapshot creates a quick "in-the-moment" memory. A portrait creates so much more. Do you want to be remembered solely by your phone snapshots? A selfie?
National Dance Week - A Gift to Dancers and Their Teachers
In recognition of National Dance Week 2014, I wish to "give back" to the dance community. I have the highest regard for dancers and the constant discipline they endure for the sake of their art. And I can't express how much I enjoy photographing dancers, so I want to make a gift to a dancer (or dance couple).
I am providing a free studio photo shoot session and 4 retouched, high resolution digital images from the shoot to an Arizona dancer (or a couple dance team). One of the images will be a head shot. The recipient may be a dance student, pre-professional, professional dancer or a teacher of dance, but must be currently involved in dance as a student, performer or teacher in the field. The application must be received by May 4, 2014, the end of National Dance Week. The photo shoot may be scheduled for a later date.

Having children is hard on one's body, which often means a woman isn't happy about how she looks during pregnancy and after child birth. Help mom feel beautiful again by giving her a photo shoot that will remind her of her beauty. Or, give the gift to yourself. Your children are beautiful and so are you.
Cowboys and Cowgirls
You can create a cowboy or cowgirl themed picture anywhere. You can even do it in a studio in downtown New York City.
But here in Arizona we can do it in the REAL old west. We've got desert, old west structures, mountain ranges, and cactus that is only found in this part of the world. We don't have to build sets or use a green screen to put in a fake background. We just go outside.
