The Blooming Desert
When most people think about the desert, they think of hot, sand, cactus and maybe a little brush.
Barren is probably the word. Unless you have lived in the desert, you are probably not aware that many of the desert plants have floral blooms that are very pretty in the spring. Such as this ironwood tree in the photo above of Tye. The entire tree blooms in these small yellow flowers. They make a great background for a photo shoot in the desert. And during most of the year, the Phoenix desert has fantastic temperatures for doing a photo shoot. The summer, well, that's another story. We're back to hot, sand, cactus and maybe a little brush...
